Here’s a photo from the day this demo was created. I was in Seattle, at my brother Klemen’s apartment. Recording on the kitchen island.
There’s a margherita with proscuitto and nutella calzone in the pizza boxes, candy in the jar, a raspberry candle wax on the warmer, and a nice traveling set up of headphones, a handheld mic and a beat pad. If you look closely, there’s a manila envelope on the bench in the back. It’s the pants I forgot to return that day.
Something about this night was special, it was as if all of the puzzle pieces of my work and demos from the past year had finally come together and I knew what I wanted to write about.
